Welcome! I am Larry Dribin, President of Pearl Street Group (PSG), a Chicago, IL, based consulting company. I have a passion for excellence!
I am a process improvement consultant who provides consulting services that enable clients to become more competitive in today’s challenging economy. Before becoming an independent, I worked for Cap Gemini in their IT Excellence Practice and later headed up the practice.
When I started at Cap Gemini, it had just become ISO9000 compliant and I learned the value of process standards. Prior to Cap Gemini, I worked for Digital Equipment Corporation supporting Motorola as it developed Six Sigma and won the Malcolm Baldridge Award. In this role I learned the importance of measurement and quality systems.
Based on these experiences, I have focused my consulting on assisting clients design and implement process improvements using: CMMI, ITIL, ISO9000, PMBOK, FDA cGMP, SAS70 and Six Sigma. In my consulting projects, I need to work with all levels within the client’s organization from CEO / CIO to PMs, developers and testers. I have been involved in all aspects of the SDLC from portfolio rationalization, through analysis, design and testing to deployment and operations.
I enjoy facilitating cross functional teams, providing thought leadership, solution design, program management, organizational change management and coaching. I have been fortunate to work in a wide variety of industries including: financial services, insurance, telecommunications and manufacturing. This has enabled me to see trends across industries and develop solutions to those trends that I would have not been able to see if I had only worked in one industry.
I am also an adjunct instructor at DePaul of Chicago where for the past 20 plus years I have taught software engineering, statistics, Project Management, Agile Development, Object Oriented Developent, RUP, CMMI, ITIL, Quality Assurance and Testing.
Larry,
